How to customise the Subtitles

Subtitles position

All your subtitles will appear in the bottom or top centre of the screen, depending on your choice.

Currently it's not possible to adjust the position of subtitles on the Subtitle Generator, but in the near future, we will be releasing an updated version of our Subtitling Generator where you will have increased flexibility to adjust the position of your subtitles.

Subtitles size

On the Subtitle Generator, you can change your captions size from font size 8 all the way up to 28.

Here's how it's done :

  • Click on Format Captions
  • Under Caption formatting select the font size you need. The screen to the left will project how your captions will look.
  • Hit Save when you're ready.

Subtitles font

  • In the Subtitle Editor, you will see a button under your video entitled Format Captions.

  • Click here to see a pop up window with your different options.

  • Under Caption formatting, click on the drop down option
  • You have 12 fonts available to you so choose the one which suits your project
  • Hit Save when you're ready

Available fonts

Depending on your project needs, we understand that you might need to change the font of your subtitles.

So here is the list of the 12 fonts available for you to use :

1. Archivo

2. Arial

4. EB Garamond o8

5. Helvetica

6. KG HAPPY Solid

7. Lobster

8. Permanent Marker

9. Roboto

10. Shrikhand

11. Tiresias Infofont

12. Young Serif

You can only use any one font per video. At the moment it is not possible to upload your own fonts, or to use two fonts in one video - but we're working on it, so hopefully you'll see it implemented soon!
