Happy Scribe can Caption your Vimeo Video file in just a few minutes. Turn your Vimeo Video to text in Spanish, English, French and 119+ languages and accents.

1. Log in to Happy Scribe
To transcribe your file, you need to log in to your Happy Scribe account. If you don't have one, you can create one at https://www.happyscribe.com/users/sign_up

2. Upload your video
Click on "Upload a file" and select the video that you have uploaded on Vimeo. If you don't have the media file, you can download it from Vimeo. Click on the video and then on "Send File" on the top right of the screen. A new window will open where you will be able to Download the original video file.

3. Select the language
Select the language that was used during your video

4. Hit "Transcribe"
Hit the "Transcribe" and you're done. It will take us a couple of minutes to process your file.

5. Proofread your transcript
Make sure that the transcript is well transcribed and add some final touches!

6. Export a subtitle version of your transcript
Click on "Export"on the top right of the screen and select the SubRip (.SRT) format.

7. Upload the Subtitle file to Vimeo
Once you have selected the video, click on "Distribution" on the left side of the screen and click on "Subtitles". From there, click on the "+" symbol, select the language and select "Caption" as a type. Then, you just have to click on "Choose a file" and select the subtitle file that you previously downloaded on Happy Scribe.
