My Vocabulary allows you to create a custom vocabulary to better transcribe technical terms, company names or your even your cat’s nickname!
There are two important steps to remember when using Happy Scribe's My Vocabulary.
1. Add your vocab before uploading your file.
It is important that you add your vocab before you upload so that our system knows to add your new words and phrases.
From your personal dashboard, select 'My Vocabulary', add your vocab and hit save.
Add your vocab from the Interactive Editor!
If you notice a word that you'd like to add to your 'My Vocabulary' you can add it directly from the Interactive Editor.
Simply click and drag to highlight the word and a pop up will appear.
Select the white star and it will turn blue. Your word is in your 'My Vocabulary' list!
2. When you have uploaded your file, activate 'use my vocabulary' before hitting 'Transcribe'.
By selecting 'use my vocabulary', you are telling our Happy Scribe system to add your vocab to the transcript.
