Plan availability

This feature is available on the Pro and Business plans.
It is not included in Starter or Lite plans.

Who can customise the Notetaker branding

Only the account owner and admins can customize the Meetings AI Notetaker branding.

Members and guests do not have access to this feature.

How to access branding settings

  1. From your main dashboard, click Meetings in the left sidebar.

  2. In the Meetings area, click Settings (top-right corner).

  3. Under Notetaker Settings, open the Branding tab (next to General).

What you can customize

Here's what you can personalize:

  • Notetaker name

    • Default: HappyScribe's Notetaker

    • Limit: Up to 64 characters

    • Type the name you want meeting participants to see.

  • Background color

    • Add your brand's HEX color code (e.g., #123456) for a clean, consistent look.

  • Logo

    • Default: The HappyScribe logo

    • Click Choose file to upload your own logo and give your brand more visibility.

  • Chat message

    • You'll see a default welcome message.

    • Replace it with a custom note that appears when your Notetaker joins the meeting. For chat messages, a Reset to default link appears whenever your custom message differs from the default.

Don't forget to save

Click Save Changes in the bottom-right corner to apply your updates.

What happens when you downgrade your plan

If your workspace downgrades from a Pro or Business plan to a plan that does not include Notetaker customization, your branding settings are affected:

  • Your workspace Notetaker settings become read-only. You can still see your previous settings, but you cannot edit them.

  • The Notetaker name reverts to your organization's default (for example, "Acme's Notetaker").

  • Chat welcome messages that you customized are no longer sent: the default messages are used instead.

If team settings were enforced before downgrading, an upgrade banner will appear with a Reset team settings to default values link. Clicking it removes the workspace-level configuration so each member regains control of their own personal Notetaker settings.

To restore full branding customization, upgrade back to a Pro or Business plan.

Your Notetaker will now show off your custom branding every time it joins a meeting. Nice touch!
