You can request the Human-made service in 2 ways:

Requesting it from the uploader

You can request your human-made file directly from the upload pop-up.

  • Select the file/s you wish to get transcribed.

  • Select the language spoken in the file.

  • Choose "Human-Made" in the service option. This indicates that you would like your transcript to be manually transcribed by our team of skilled professionals.

  • Review your order. Before proceeding, take a moment to review the details of your order, including the files and the selected language. Once you're satisfied, click on the "Transcribe" button to proceed with your request.

Requesting it from the Editor

If you have already processed your file with the Automatic service, you can request the review directly from within the file.

  • Open the file you wish to get proofread by our team.

  • Click 'Request human review' by using the button on the top right corner of the editor.

  • Review and submit your order.

Best practices for requesting a human-made transcript

  • Clearly specify your language requirements: Ensure that you select the correct language and flavor for your content to avoid any inaccuracies in the final transcript. Portuguese from Portugal is very different from Brazilian Portuguese!

  • Provide clear and concise instructions: If you have specific preferences or complicated vocabulary, speaker names, and terminology, be sure to specify them using your Vocabulary page. This will help our Scribes understand your expectations and deliver a transcript that meets your needs.

  • Be mindful of turnaround time: Keep in mind that human-made transcripts require manual effort and take longer to deliver compared to automated transcripts. Plan your timeline accordingly and allow sufficient time for the transcription process.
