This article shows you how to change the time format HappyScribe uses for your meetings, whether you prefer 12-hour (1:00 PM) or 24-hour (13:00). You can set it once and every meeting time you see will follow your choice.
Change your time format
Click Settings in the lower-left corner of your dashboard.
On the Account tab, find the Time format dropdown.
Pick one of the three options:
Automatic (based on your region): uses 24-hour format unless your country typically uses 12-hour. This is the default for new accounts.
12-hour (1:00 PM): shows times with AM/PM.
24-hour (13:00): shows times without AM/PM.
Click Save account information at the bottom of the form.

Where the time format appears
Your time format choice applies across all meeting views:
Your meetings calendar and calendar event rows
Meeting date and time icons in lists and details
Meeting summary emails you receive after a meeting
The setting is per user, so each team member can choose their own preference without affecting anyone else.
How Automatic detection works
When set to Automatic, HappyScribe uses your country to decide the format. Most countries use 24-hour time by default. If your country is one of those that typically uses a 12-hour clock, such as the United States, Canada, Australia, India, or the Philippines, you will see 12-hour times.
If you travel or want to override this, switch to your preferred format manually and your choice will be saved.
