How to unsubscribe from HappyScribe emails

A quick guide on how to unsubscribe from HappyScribe emails.

There are two types of emails you might receive from HappyScribe: marketing emails and product emails. Here's how to manage each one.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails

Marketing emails include newsletters, promotions, or special offers. To unsubscribe, click the Unsubscribe link in the footer of any marketing email you receive from us, and follow the steps provided.

Unsubscribing from product emails

Product emails are service-related messages and notifications you receive while using HappyScribe. These may include updates about transcripts, subtitles, or translation processing, as well as meeting summary notifications if you use our AI Notetaker for meetings.

To manage or turn off these notifications, go to Settings > Notifications and uncheck the relevant options.

Account-management emails

Some emails can't be turned off—these are essential account communications like billing notifications (invoices, for example) or workspace invitations.

If you'd rather not see these in your inbox, we recommend asking your IT administrator or email provider to set up inbox rules or filters to redirect them automatically.

Still receiving marketing emails?

If you've unsubscribed but are still getting marketing emails:

  • Allow a few days for the change to take effect.

  • Double-check whether it’s a marketing email or a service-related message.
