HappyScribe provides clean-read subtitles—these include only the spoken content and exclude atmospherics (sound effects) and speaker labels. These subtitles are ideal for general audiences but may not address the needs of viewers who are Deaf or hard of hearing.

However, accessibility is a core value for us. Through our human-made subtitling services, we can deliver SDH-compliant captioning tailored to your project’s specific requirements.

What We Offer

We support SDH captioning in the following languages:

  • English

  • French

  • Spanish

  • German

  • Portuguese (Brazil)

We also have relatively higher capacity for projects in our main verticals: English, French, and Spanish.

How to Request SDH Captioning

  1. Reach out: Contact us at sales@happyscribe.co with your project details—including the language you need.

  2. We’ll review: Our team will assess your needs and discuss timing and pricing based on project scope.

  3. Human-powered subtitle creation: All SDH requests are fulfilled via our human subtitling service, not via our machine-generated services.
