Rewind on pause can be very useful for some people when transcribing, as some words are spoken in a very short space of time, and in this context it can be helpful to rewind a bit when unpausing the file.
Where can I find more options for rewind on pause?
Click on the (...) button in the bottom-left corner of the editor
This will open up more options
You will see "Rewind on pause"
Find more options to adjust the length of time the file rewinds (between 0 and 10 seconds) by clicking on the number next to it
How can I switch this off?
You can switch it off by following the instructions above and selecting 0 seconds in the dropdown menu:
